Description
Indispensable tool for finesse float fishing. Go heavier (within the limits of your rod) if using them for river or saltwater fishing.

These Neoprene Depth Finding Weights, commonly referred to as "sonde" in Italy, serve a functional role in gauging water column depth when employing a float for fishing.
To utilize, thread the hook through the ring located at the top and subsequently secure it to the neoprene below. Should the bobber submerge, it indicates the water's depth surpasses the current setting of the float.
As a remedy, adjust the float to a deeper setting and retest. Once the bobber remains above water, it signifies the sonda has made contact with the seabed, ensuring the bobber remains buoyant. At this juncture, the sonda can be detached, the float slightly lowered, positioning your bait ideally just above the bottom, a prime location for fish activity.
Though their construction permits usage as standard weights, for longevity, it's advisable to reserve them primarily for depth finding.
Be mindful that the larger sondas exhibit superior craftsmanship compared to the more intricate smaller versions. Nonetheless, all sizes are functional and effective. Please be aware that weight values are provided as approximations.
