Tiber Outfitters is more than just an online fishing store - it’s a bridge between worlds, uniting North America's thriving fishing community with the traditions and tools of European anglers.

Our founder, Antonio Cangiano, was literally born on the Tiber River in Italy (i.e., the Tiber Island). This river, one of the largest in the country, runs through his veins as much as it does through the heart of Rome. It's the namesake of his business and his inspiration. 

The Tiber River is teeming with a variety of fish species, including trout, carp, and even giant cat fish. It's a river that has inspired countless fishermen throughout the centuries and continues to be a living testament to the enduring love for fishing in the European continent.

From casting his first line at the tender age of five, Antonio's passion for fishing has never waned. In fact, he's made it his mission to share the joys of fishing and the outdoor experience with others. However, when he relocated to Canada nearly two decades ago, he found himself longing for the unique fishing gear he'd grown up using in Italy. This challenge sparked an idea that would bridge the gap for other passionate anglers facing similar struggles.

Thus, Tiber Outfitters was born.
