General

The name 'Tiber' holds a special place in our hearts. Originating from one of the major rivers in Italy, Tiber is a nod to Antonio, the founder of Tiber Outfitters, who was born on an island in the midst of this river and Tiberius is also his middle name. As we specialize in both Canadian and European fishing gear, we believe this name resonates well with our brand's unique identity and the diverse origins of our products.

Indeed, we are! Though we started as a small-scale enterprise, our ambitions are grand. We're currently negotiating partnerships with multiple Canadian and European brands to diversify our offerings. Our goal is to provide you with an extensive selection of premium, unique fishing gear for various species. We believe in quality over quantity, and that reflects in our meticulously curated product line.

While there are commonalities between European and Canadian fishing gear, each comes with its unique features and benefits. For instance, our Canadian gear excels at targeting game fish like Bass and Walleye. In contrast, European gear is tailored for finesse techniques to lure species like Carp, Trout, and various panfish. If you're a fan of long Bolognese telescopic rods or delicate finesse floats, we've got you covered. We strive to introduce North America to high-quality, hard-to-find European gear while also highlighting the best that Canadian manufacturers have to offer.

Absolutely! We take great pride in fostering relationships with small-scale manufacturers. If your products are unique, superior in quality, and align with our brand ethos, we would be more than happy to feature them. We believe in supporting local businesses and promoting craftsmanship, and collaborations like these are a great way to achieve that goal.

Yes, indeed. Your suggestions and feedback are invaluable to us. If you have a particular product in mind, whether European or North American, don't hesitate to let us know. We will make our best efforts to include your suggested items in our catalogue, enhancing our product diversity and customer satisfaction.

Absolutely! We're more than willing to assist you in selecting the perfect gear. Don't hesitate to reach out to us via email, text, or the chat function. We're here to ensure you have the best possible fishing experience and to help you catch as much fish as you can handle.

Currently, we operate solely online. We made this strategic decision to minimize operating costs and transfer those savings directly to you, our valued customer. As we continue to grow and expand, we're open to the possibility of establishing a physical retail location in Okanagan, Canada, to better serve you but today we are focused on our online operation.
